iPadOS 16 to be Available on October 24 for iPads: Here’s the Full List of Devices

Last night, Apple announced three new tablets in the iPad lineup and along with that, the company has also confirmed the rollout date of the next iteration of iPadOS, the iPadOS 16. The iPadOS 16, which was initially announced at the WWDC 2022 this year will be rolled out to all eligible iPad devices starting October 24th globally as a free software update.

The stable version of the update will start rolling out next week and even Indian devices are expected to get the update on October 24th (night), going by the past record of the company. iPadOS 16: List of Eligible Devices

The iPad Pro in the aforementioned list includes both the 11-inch as well as 12.9-inch models. iPadOS 16 is available for iPad (5th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), and all iPad Pro models. Check out the full list of devices below.

iPadOS 16: Features

The new iPadOS update brings an edit message option to the messaging app, allowing users to edit message even after it has been delivered. You can also mark a message as unread if you can’t respond at the moment and want to come back to it later.

Further, Apple has also introduced a new way to multitask called the Stage Manager, which allows users to resize windows and also see multiple overlapping windows in a single view. This also makes the iPad switch between apps seamlessly with just a tap. You can arrange, resize and overlap apps in your ideal layout. Some other key changes and new features include:
