While we got the ‘first look’ at Apple’s upcoming flagship iPhone 14 series last year itself right before the launch event of the iPhone 13 models, a few design changes seem to have taken place since then. Now, the same Apple tipster, Jon Prosser is out with what can be called the most accurate look at the iPhone 14 Pro models. We are expecting to see the new iPhone series later this year in the month of September if everything goes according to the plan. As several leaks and rumours have pointed out since the past few months, the series may include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 14 Pro: Larger Rear Camera Setup Expected
The new renders of the iPhone 14 Pro by Prosser come via his latest Front Page Tech video on YouTube. In the video, he highlighted what all design changes will be coming to the iPhone 14 Pro models this year. The biggest visual change comes at the back of the smartphone in the form of a considerably bigger camera plateau. Prosser states that the cameras will be bigger in both iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max because of the new 48MP camera with 57% larger sensor and 8K video recording capability. Although it might not be much noticeable in the larger Pro Max version, it will definitely be noticeable in the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro model.
iPhone 14 Pro: Welcome Pill + Hole, Bye-Bye Notch
In line with what has been rumoured and leaked before, Prosser adds that there will be a pill+ hole design at the front, which will include the front camera along with the sensors and will be replacing the existing notch. A slightly larger screen may also add to the overall weight of the device. Adding to the change is a larger radius at the corners of the iPhone for a more rounded appearance. The reason for this could be the larger camera setup at the back.
iPhone 14 Pro: New Purple Colour
Finally, in the video, the renders also focus on the new and unique Purple colour option, which has not been there for the Pro models before. This can come along with the Graphite, Silver and Gold colour options.
He also talked a bit about the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models. The two devices are likely to feature nearly the same design as their predecessors and run on A15 Bionic instead of A16 – which are rumoured to power the Pro models.
