iPhone 14 for Rs 65,999: Should You Buy?
The iPhone 14 came with incremental upgrades over the iPhone 13. The latter has been available for around Rs 55,000 on various e-commerce websites. After comparing the price difference and the specs on offer, the latest iPhone did not offer as great value for money. However, compared to the iPhone 13’s usual sale price, the iPhone 14’s Rs 65,999 price tag seems like an excellent deal.
The new iPhone gets a larger sensor, a bigger battery, an extra GPU core and support for auto-focus for the front camera compared to the iPhone 13. It also boots the latest iOS 16 out of the box. While the iPhone 13 also gets iOS 16 as a software update, the newer model is likely to get an additional year of software support.
The 2022 baseline iPhone comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina OLED display with a wide notch at the top for the Face ID sensors and the front camera. The display continues to remain flat. It also has a standard 60Hz refresh rate support.
Under the hood, there is the A15 Bionic with a five-core GPU. The iPhone 14 continues to support 20W fast charging but you do not get a charger in the box.
The rear camera setup features a 12MP primary camera from the iPhone 13 Pro and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. There is a 12MP front camera with auto-focus support.
The latest iPhone is available in multiple colour options, including Starlight, Midnight, Purple, Blue, and PRODUCT [RED]. What are your thoughts on the latest iPhone? Let us know in the comments below.
