Flipkart has teased the discount offer for the latest iPhone before the sale goes live for all consumers. The company has confirmed that the iPhone 14 will get a discount of almost Rs 14,000 during the Republic Day sale. The device, which was launched for Rs 79,900, can be bought for Rs 65,999 during the Flipkart sale.

The offer price is inclusive of the 10 per cent discount offers on ICICI and Citi Bank credit and debit cards. Flipkart is also offering additional discounts of up to Rs 23,000 on the exchange of old smartphones for the new 2022 iPhone.

iPhone 14 for Rs 65,999: Should You Buy?

The iPhone 14 came with incremental upgrades over the iPhone 13. The latter has been available for around Rs 55,000 on various e-commerce websites. After comparing the price difference and the specs on offer, the latest iPhone did not offer as great value for money. However, compared to the iPhone 13’s usual sale price, the iPhone 14’s Rs 65,999 price tag seems like an excellent deal.

The new iPhone gets a larger sensor, a bigger battery, an extra GPU core and support for auto-focus for the front camera compared to the iPhone 13. It also boots the latest iOS 16 out of the box. While the iPhone 13 also gets iOS 16 as a software update, the newer model is likely to get an additional year of software support.
