Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 15iPhone 15 PlusiPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Ultra later tonight. The Cupertino-based tech giant is hosting its annual fall event where the brand will announce the new iPhones, Apple Watches, and the rollout schedule of next-gen operating systems, including iOS 17, watchOS 10, etc. Almost all specifications of the iPhone 15 models have been leaked, including the much-anticipated Action Button on the higher-end iPhones. Now, the popular case maker, Spigen, has posted an image on its X handle confirming the presence of the Action button. Let’s take a look at the new development.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Action Button Confirmed By Spigen

Spigen only posted a part of the upcoming iPhone device with the caption, “Something’s different.” But the image speaks louder than the words, and we can see what the popular casemaker is trying to show. Right above the physical volume button, we can see the pill-shaped clickable button where the alert slider used to be.

There are rumours that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max or 15 Ultra will get the new action button, but the vanilla iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will stick to the ubiquitous alert slider. If the rumours are to be believed, the new Action Button can be configured to launch the camera, toggle silent mode, toggle flashlight, open app shortcut, open voice memo, launch accessibility shortcut, toggle focus modes, and more.

iPhone 15 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15 Pro models with a titanium frame instead of Stainless Steel this year. Moreover, the more expensive iPhones are also expected to come with a periscope-style telephoto lens with an optical zoom capability of 6x. Powering these phones will be the world’s first 3nm processor – Apple A17 Bionic. This year, Apple is also transitioning from the standard lightning port to a USB-C port for charging.

Other rumoured features include up to 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED with a 120Hz ProMotion panel. In the camera department, these iPhones will retain the 48MP primary lens from last year but will get a new 13.4MP ultra-wide lens and a 12.4MP telephoto camera. Out of the box, the new iPhone 15 Pro models will boot the latest iOS 17.

We will learn more about the new iPhones in a few hours when the Apple Wonderlust event kicks off at 10.30pm IST.
