Let’s take a look at the iPhone 15 Pro design renders, specifications and other details leaked ahead of its launch.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Design Renders Suggest Bigger Camera Bump, Thinner Bezels
Apple iPhone 15 Pro models will get several design tweaks that will help distinguish them against the currently available iPhone 14 Pro series. The 9to5Mac report claims that the 15 Pro series will come with a titanium case with rounder edges. The edges will say goodbye to physical buttons and mute switches. Apple instead will replace them with solid-state haptic and mute buttons. The feedback should be similar to the Home Button of the iPhone 7 series and the iPhone 8 series.
The report added that the “mute switch will also receive the haptic treatment and will instead function as a push button.” However, it remains to be seen how Apple will treat this new input in the software. At the bottom, the iPhone 15 series will get a UBS Type-C port, which is now being reported widely after company executives confirmed that they will have to comply with the European Union’s law. It was recently reported that the USB Type-C port in the iPhone will have certain limitations. Also, the Pro models will get the faster USB 3.1, whereas the standard models will feature the USB 2.0 port.
On the front, the 15 Pro models will have tinier bezels than ever. The report stated that the bezels around the OLED display ill measure a mere 1.55mm. The front and rear glass feature a subtle curvature of the edges, transitioning seamlessly into the titanium frame of the device.

The rear camera setup continues to include three sensors. However, the protrusion is bigger than ever. The renders uploaded by 9to5Mac show that the individual lens protrusion has more than doubled from the iPhone 14 Pro’s enormous cameras. While the exact details are unknown, part of why the camera module is so thick is because Apple is likely to use some new sensor technology that will capture more light and reduce overexposure or under exposure in certain settings. The camera module also features the LiDAR sensor and an LED flash module.
Lastly, the report revealed that the upcoming iPhone Pro will launch in a new Deep Red colour option. It will sit besides the White, Space Black and Gold colour options. In case you are wondering, there will not be a Deep Purple colour option.
