There has been a lot of chatter around the iPhone 15 series colour options, especially about the iPhone 15 Pro. This is because of Apple’s decision to shift from stainless steel to titanium. The company is said to have opted for new colours that better represent the new material. We have seen the new iPhone 15 series colour only in renders but that changes now. A new leak has surfaced that shows iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro dummy models in different colour options.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Dummy Models Leaked
Tipster Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) has shared a couple of posts on X featuring iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 dummy models photos. These alleged models show different colour options of the upcoming iPhones. It also gives us a good look at the new USB Type-C port that will replace the Lightning port.
The iPhone 15 Pro is shown in Space Black, Blue, Silver, and Titan Gray colour variants. The last one is a new colour that Apple is reported to introduce to go with the newly chosen titanium material. All four colours look quite dull as per the leaked dummy models. They also appear not-so-different from one another when placed next to each other which could leave some fans disappointed if not many of them.
The iPhone 15 dummy models on another hand show colour options that are relatively more fun and vibrant. They are actually more pastel-looking but are undoubtedly more eye-pleasing than the Pro models. The rumours have suggested Black, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Pink colours but all of them are not visible in the leaked dummy models.
The same dummy models further show the USB Type-C port Apple is widely reported to debut with the iPhone 15 series. There are speculations that even though iPhone 15 users will get USB-C ports, file transfer speeds on the bundled cable will still be limited to USB 2.0 standard. Some reports also talk about Thunderbolt support but Apple may sell those cables separately.
The good thing is Apple is finally reported to increase the charging speeds on the new iPhones. The upcoming iPhone 15 series is expected to offer 35W wired charging speed. However, it is unknown if all four models will get faster charging speeds or only the Pro models. The iPhone 15 Pro Max could be known as the iPhone 15 Ultra this year.
There are plenty of rumours and speculations like it is always there ahead of the new iPhone launch. Apple has confirmed it will hold its next product launch event on September 12. It is the event where will meet the new iPhone 15 and Apple Watch models alongside other announcements.
