Apple 6.1-inch LCD iPhone X Leak Reveals Three Colours, Price; Check Complete Details Here

All three iPhones are rumoured to come in multiple SKU variants as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB respectively

Apple will be unveiling its new iPhones at its annual launch event scheduled to be held in the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California on September 12. Just like every other year, rumour mills are busy leaking new titbits regarding the upcoming iPhones. Recent reports suggest that Apple will be launching three completely different iPhones this year, and it will include the standard iPhone 9 (name yet to be confirmed), iPhone Xs and a markedly larger iPhone Xs Max.

iPhones To Be Launched: Rumoured Features, Specifications

Various contradictory reports have emerged in the past regarding the upcoming iPhones. From what it seems, Apple will be ditching the supposed iPhone 9 Plus this year, and instead would opt for the iPhone Xs. It would apparently come with a full-screen display, just like the one seen in the original iPhone X that was launched in 2017. That being said, the smartphone won’t be as expensive as its predecessor, and will, in fact, be placed as the Apple iPhone 8 Plus successor.

Recently, Apple product reviewing site, 9to5Mac revealed the press renders of the iPhone Xs and the iPhone Xs Max in all its glory. The alleged renders showcased the gold variants of both the smartphones. Additionally, both the smartphones were sporting a true-bezel less display. It would be interesting to see whether Apple decided to continue with the same old rectangular notch that appeared first on its iPhone X or move ahead with the induction of a teardrop notch, similar to one on the Oppo R17 Pro or the Vivo V11 Pro.

Going by previous reports, Apple will be revealing three new iPhones this year, out of which one will come with an LCD display. This is rumored to be the successor of the standard iPhone 8 and will be presumably known as the Apple iPhone 9. It will come with a 6.1 inch LCD panel, which is markedly larger than the one seen on the last generation iPhone. For starters, the Apple iPhone 8 comes with a 4.7 inch HD IPS display, which is pretty small as per 2018 standards. Therefore, the inclusion of a 6.1 inch LCD panel on the upcoming iPhone is a welcome change.

Apple 6.1 inch LCD iPhone: Price, Colour Variants

A recent report by Macerkopof further reveals that this would be the cheapest of the three iPhones, and would be priced at around $699. Furthermore, the alleged iPhone 9 will come in three colour variants, namely Red, White, and Blue.

The all-new iPhone Xs and the iPhone Xs Max will, however, attract the most number of eyeballs. Both these smartphones would come with an OLED display, with the former sporting a 5.8-inch panel and the latter a 6.5 inch one. Additionally, both the phones are said to come with a Retina display, but we don’t really know the exact resolution yet. The 5.8-inch OLED panel on the iPhone Xs makes it nearly identical to that of the iPhone X. That said, we can expect the former to have a marginally smaller footprint due to the presence of even minimal bezels on all its four sides.

Apple iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max: Rumoured Price

Finally, coming to the price, the 6.1 inch Apple iPhone 9 (name yet to be confirmed) will be the cheapest of the trio at $699. It will, therefore, replace the current generation iPhone 8 which apparently retails in the US for a similar updated price. The Apple iPhone Xs with 5.8-inch OLED display, on the other hand, will cost approximately $799, which is also similar to the current asking price of the iPhone 8 Plus. And last, but not the least, the humongous 6.5 inches iPhone Xs Max will be marked at $999.

All three iPhones are rumoured to come in multiple SKU variants, precisely 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB respectively. The 256GB and 512GB variants of the iPhone will supposedly cost $150 and $250 more than the base variant of the respective devices.
