iPhones, Samsung Galaxy Phones Get Nothing Phone (1) Look with the New Dbrand Something Skins and Cases

The skins and cases do not offer the LED lights feature, of course. But if you want a phone that looks a lot similar to the Phone (1), at least from a distance, maybe this is the closest thing that replicates its design.

Nothing Phone (1) Something skins

Nothing launched the Phone (1) earlier this week. The company hyped a lot of the phone’s features, particularly its design since the beginning of its promotional campaign. Phone (1) has a transparent back panel along with a bunch of LED strips that glow when users get a call or notification. These LED strips are in different shapes and sizes and can be seen across different areas of the back panel.

The tiny tweaks in design certainly make the Phone (1) look unique from the smartphones out there. In case you want your phone to look something similar, Dbrand has got you covered. The vinyl skin maker for smartphones, laptops and other devices has launched its new collection of Something cases and skins that match the geometric white and grey style of the Nothing Phone (1).

The Something branding clearly takes shots at Nothing. Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz said that the Nothing phone’s main appeal is its aesthetics and believes that no one would want to cover it with a case or skin. “If we can’t cover the phone, how do we profit off Nothing?” Ijaz said via email to The Verge.

Currently, the Something cases are available for a limited number of phones, such as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the Pixel 6 Pro, and the Samsung S22 Ultra. Something skins start at $24.95 (roughly Rs 2,000) ,whereas the grip case will cost $49.90 (roughly Rs 4,000).

The skins and cases do not offer the LED lights feature, of course. But if you want a phone that looks a lot similar to the Phone (1), at least from a distance, maybe this is the closest thing that replicates its design.
