iQOO 11 5G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch


iQOO 11 series is expected to launch soon. The company is expected to launch two smartphones as part of its new flagship series. These include the iQOO 11 5G and the 11 Pro 5G. The phones are likely to debut first in China, followed by other markets. iQOO 11 series is also expected to launch in India early next year. The launch seems imminent as the vanilla model has been spotted on the Geekbench website.

The listing on Geekbench confirms the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO flagship phone. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 specifications, features and other details leaked via the Geekbench website ahead of the launch.

iQOO 11 5G Geekbench

The iQOO 11 5G will launch as a successor of the iQOO 10, which was launched in India as the iQOO 9T 5G earlier this year. The upcoming iQOO flagship has the model number V2243A. According to the listing, the phone draws power from an SoC codenamed Kalama. This is the codename for the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The SoC is paired with 12GB of RAM. We can expect iQOO to launch the phone with 8GB of RAM as well. 

The octa-core SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. it has four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz and three efficiency cores clocked at 2.02GHz. The listing also reveals that the phone scored 1451 and 4681 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core scores. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box. The China variant will run Origin OS out of the box, whereas the India variant, upon launch, could debut with Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android.

Some other details of the phone have leaked in the past. The device is said to sport a 6.78-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will also feature a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, according to the rumour mill.

On the back, the phone will feature a triple-camera setup. The device will feature a 50MP Samsung GN5 main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera. iQOO will also launch the phone with Vivo’s V2 ISP chip for better lowlight and portrait mode performance. 

The device will pack a 5000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging out of the box. Other details of the phone are unknown at the moment. We will share more information when available.
