iQOO 11 Indian Variant Spotted on IMEI Database, Launch Expected Soon

iQOO 11 series is likely to debut soon. The Vivo sub-brand is expected to announce the launch date of its new flagship smartphone series soon. The iQOO 11 series will include at least two phones. These include the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro. The company is expected to make the phones available first in China, followed by other markets. While we wait for the launch date, the iQOO 11 has been spotted on the IMEI database.

The listing confirms the moniker and the model number of the premium iQOO smartphone. Other details of the phone have leaked as well. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 specifications, features and other details known so far.

iQOO 11 IMEI Listing

The iQOO 11 series could debut in China in November or December 2022. The vanilla model has been spotted on the IMEI database ahead of its debut. The listing reveals that the phone has the model number I2209. The listing also confirms the official iQOO 11 moniker of the phone’s Indian variant.

While the IMEI listing does not reveal any other specifications, the rumour mill has churned out some information in the past. Based on the leaked details, it is likely that the phone will draw power from the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The upcoming Qualcomm chipset is expected to be announced officially on November 15. 

The device is also likely to be available with 8GB and 12GB of RAM. iQOO will launch the phone with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. There will be a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The phone will also get support for 120W fast charging out of the box. 

On the front, there will be a 6.78-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution. The AMOLED display will support a 144Hz refresh rate, which is an upgrade over the current model’s 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will remain flat and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

The rear camera setup will include a 50MP Samsung GN5 main camera. iQOO is expected to launch the phone with a triple-camera setup, which will also include a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 13MP portrait-telephoto camera. 

iQOO will launch the phone with Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Origin OS Ocean on top of Android in China. The phone will launch in India with Funtouch OS 13.
