iQOO 11 series launch is around the corner. The company has confirmed to launch its new flagship phone series in China and Malaysia on December 2. The iQOO 11 5G will be among the first set of phones to feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. iQOO’s parent company Vivo has already confirmed that the flagship phone will feature Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line SoC under the hood. Today, the company has dropped another teaser, which reveals more details about the performance unit.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 11 5G will feature LPDDR5X RAM under the hood. The company also revealed that the upcoming premium phone will come with UFS 4.0 storage, which is currently the fastest standard. Users can expect fast read and write speeds with the kind of storage standard on offer.

The company did not reveal the storage configurations though. It is expected that the iQOO 11 series will come with three storage options at least. Some details about the iQOO 11 5G have leaked in the past. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 specifications, features and other details leaked so far.

iQOO 11 5G specifications

iQOO has already teased the design of its upcoming flagship phone. The device will come with a rectangular-shaped camera module on the back. It will house a triple-camera setup. The text on the camera module confirms that the iQOO 11 series will feature a V2 chip. For the uninitiated, the Vivo V2 chip is a custom-developed Image Signal Processor (ISP) which is used to improve the low-light video recording and portrait mode capabilities of the phone. The device will launch in at least two colours – Alpha Black and Legend Edition. The latter has three vertical stripes on the back inspired by BMW sports cars.

In terms of specifications, the phone is rumoured to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution. It is also said to support an upgraded 144Hz refresh rate, which is a bump up over the existing model’s 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the display, which will remain flat. The screen also has fairly thin bezels around it.

The phone is also said to feature 8GB/ 12GB of RAM along with 128GB/ 256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 120W fast charging out of the box. There will not be any wireless charging support.

The rear camera setup is said to feature a 50MP main camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 13MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the device will feature a 16MP front camera sensor.

iQOO will launch the phone with Android 13 out of the box. The device will launch in China with a layer of Origin OS 3 on top. The India variant, which is likely to launch in January 2023, will launch with a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android. iQOO is also likely to launch the 11 Pro alongside the regular model. We can expect more details about the same to surface on the web very soon.
