iQOO 11 Pro Indian Variant Appears on BIS Certification Ahead of Launch

iQOO 11 series is expected to launch soon. The company is expected to launch two new smartphones. These include the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro. The company has not revealed the exact launch date of the iQOO 11 series. The launch seems imminent as the Indian variant of the iQOO 11 Pro has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. A recent report claimed that the iQOO 11 Pro will launch in India at the start of 2023.

iQOO 11 Pro BIS Listing

The iQOO 11 Pro has been spotted on the BIS website ahead of its official launch. The listing reveals that the phone has the model number I2212. While the BIS listing does not confirm any details about the phone’s launch, we can expect it to take place within a few weeks of its debut in China.


iQOO has confirmed that its upcoming flagship phones will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which was unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit on November 16. The chip is based on TSMC’s 4nm node and has a peak clock speed of 3.2GHz. 

A recent GSM Arena report revealed that the 11 Pro will launch in India in January 2023. The report does not reveal any details about the launch of the vanilla iQOO 11 5G. iQOO is likely to launch both phones in India as a successor to the currently available iQOO 9 series and the iQOO 9T.

Other details of the phone have leaked as well. The 11 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. It will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display. The device will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back. It could feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 14.6MP telephoto camera.

Under the hood, there will be a 4700mAh battery with support for 200W fast charging out of the box. There will also be support for 50W wireless charging. The phone is also said to feature a 16MP front camera. iQOO could launch the phone in India with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will run Android 13 out of the box.
