The iQOO 11 was launched earlier this year. The company launched its premium smartphone under the flagship series in India with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The iQOO 11 Pro 5G, which sits above the vanilla flagship, did not make it to India. The company has not confirmed whether the 11 Pro 5G will launch in India. Meanwhile, details about the next flagship, the iQOO 12, have leaked online. A new leak has revealed some key specifications about the iQOO 12 ahead of the launch.

iQOO 12 5G Might Get Faster Charging Support

The iQOO 12 5G is expected to launch later this year. The company is yet to confirm any details about the launch. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the battery and charging details of the phone. The 12 5G will feature a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The battery capacity is the same as the iQOO 11 series. 

However, the charging speed will get upgraded to 200W, according to Digital Chat Station (DCS). iQOO has reserved its highest fast-charging tech for the Pro models over the past couple of generations. However, it looks like the company’s 200W fast-charging tech will trickle down to the vanilla flagship models going forward.

It would be interesting to see if the upcoming iQOO smartphones with 200W fast charging debut outside China. The company has been keeping its Pro models exclusive to China, whereas the vanilla models have made it to India and some other markets.

The iQOO 12 Pro is likely to get the same fast charging tech. It is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The Pro model is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as well. Other details about the 12 series is unknown at the moment.

Currently, the iQOO 11 is available in India at a starting price of Rs 59,990 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option. The 16GB + 256GB storage variant can be bought for Rs 64,999. For the price, users get a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a curved display with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. The phone has a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back. It also features 120W fast charging tech for the 5000mAh battery.
