Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is soon going to launch its first-ever smartphone in India. The iQOO 3 smartphone will launch on February 25 in India. Right ahead of the launch, both the Indian and the Chinese models of the iQOO 3 5G smartphone have been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website, which gives us some more intel on the specifications of the device. iQOO 3 5G Appears on the Wi-Fi Alliance Certification Website Ahead of Launch
As seen in the certification images, the iQOO 3 5G (with the model number V1955A for the Chinese model and I1928, I1927 for the Indian models (one model could be the 4G variant. The company has hinted that it will launch both the 4G and the 5G variants of the device in India), which has already appeared on the Indian BIS certification website, by the way) have received the Wi-Fi certification. The certification confirms that the iQOO 3 5G will run on Android 10 OS out of the box. Plus, the device will run on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz frequency bands. Other than what we mentioned above, the Wi-Fi Alliance certification fails to give us anything else about the device.
But, you need not worry as we already have pretty much all the intel about the iQOO 3 5G. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G platform, which will be coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO 3 5G will flaunt a big 4,440mAh battery, which will have ultra-flash charge support of up to 55W.
