Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO launched its iQOO Neo 3 smartphone in China yesterday. So far, the company has not officially confirmed as to when the device will go global, but it has announced a new permanent price cut for the iQOO 3 smartphone in India. The iQOO 3 smartphone was launched a couple of months ago in India and is one of the first 5G smartphones in the country. Earlier today, the company’s official Twitter handles have confirmed the price cut for the iQOO 3 smartphone. iQOO 3 New Prices in India After the Latest Price Cut
After the latest price cut, the iQOO 3 smartphone starts at Rs 34,990 in India. For Rs 34,990, interested buyers can get their hands on the base variant of the iQOO 3, which features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Before the price cut, the base variant of the iQOO 3 came with a price tag of Rs 38,990.
Secondly, the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant of the device has seen a price drop of Rs 4,000 in India and will not sell for Rs 37,999 instead of the earlier price tag of Rs 41,990. It is worth noting that the two variants that we have mentioned are 4G variants of the iQOO 3.
If, however, you want to buy the 5G variant of the device, it’s good news for you, as the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant of the iQOO 3 has also seen a price cut of Rs 2,000 and will now sell for Rs 44,990 instead of the previous Rs 46,990 price tag.
The new prices of the iQOO 3 will be effective immediately once the lockdown ends in the country. Interested buyers will be able to book their iQOO 3 smartphone via the company’s official website or from Flipkart.
iQOO 3: Specifications and Features
Coming to the specifications of the device, the iQOO 3 sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The device features a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, located in the top right corner of the device’s display. The punch-hole cutout makes room for a 16MP selfie shooter. Moving around on the rear of the device, the iQOO 3 sports a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto lens with 20x digital zoom, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, the iQOO 3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is tied up with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the iQOO 3 ships the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house iQOO UI baked on top of it.
A large 4,440mAh battery keeps the lights of the device on. The iQOO 3 features up to 55W fast charging over a USB Type-C port. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top of the device.
