iQOO launched the iQOO 3 smartphone in India last year in February. Since then, the company remained inactive and didn’t announce any new handset in the Indian market. However, we are aware of the fact that iQOO is prepping to bring its new devices to India, and has officially started teasing them. The new iQOO phones to debut in India could be the iQOO 7 and the iQOO Neo 5. These handsets now have gained the required Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India ahead of the official launch. iQOO 7 and iQOO Neo 5 Passes BIS Certification
The two iQOO smartphones which have passed the BIS certification carry the model number – I2009 and I2011. The model I2009 is believed to be the iQOO 7, while the I2011 could be the iQOO Neo 5. In the last month, the iQOO 7 (I2009) Indian variant had appeared on Geekbench. The device was running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, and it showed up with 12GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. The phone had managed to score 1,130 and 3,690 points in the single-core and multi-core test respectively at Geekbench.
