iQOO has confirmed the launch of iQOO 7 in India. The smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. iQOO has also confirmed that the iQOO 7 price in India will be under Rs 40,000 in India. While the exact launch date of the device remains unknown, iQOO is expected to launch the device in April. Ahead of the launch, a new leak suggests that the iQOO 7 Legendary Edition will launch in India. iQOO is gearing up for the iQOO 7 launch in India. The company is tipped to bring the BMW M Motorsport version of its premium gaming smartphone.


According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the BMW M Motorsport Edition will launch as iQOO 7 Legend in India. The smartphone sports the same specs as the regular model but comes with racing stripes on the back. It has a white rear panel with red, black, and blue stripes on it. The exact launch date is currently unknown. The company has launched the smartphone in China. We expect it to come to India with the same specs and features.

iQOO 7 price in India

The company has confirmed that the price of its upcoming smartphone will be under Rs 40,000. It was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 3,798 (Roughly Rs 43,050) for the 8GB/128GB model. The 12GB/256GB variant price is set at CNY 4,198 (Roughly Rs 47,600). It comes in Black, Latent Blue, and Legendary Edition with the BMW branding.

iQOO 7 specifications

The USP of the iQOO 7 is its performance unit. It comes with a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The variant launched in China has up to 12GB of RAM and comes with 256GB of internal storage. The device also has a new Vapour Chamber for better heat dissipation.

At the front, the phone sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display has a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout. The iQOO flagship has support for a 120Hz refresh rate. and comes with 300Hz touch sampling rate. Other features include a 1300 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+ support.

In terms of optics, the phone gets a triple-camera setup. It comes with a 48MP f/1.79 primary camera with OIS and EIS. The camera module also comes with support for a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom, and 20x digital zoom. For selfies, the hole punch cutout houses a 16MP front camera. In terms of software, the device runs Android 11 with OriginOS on top of it. The India variant could come with Funtouch OS 11 on top instead of OriginOS.
