iQOO has confirmed that the price of its upcoming gaming smartphone will be under Rs 40,000. The exact pricing is currently unknown.
The smartphone has been launched in China for CNY 3,798 (Roughly Rs 43,050) for the 8GB/128GB model.
iQOO 7 specifications
The iQOO smartphone has already launched in China. We can expect it to launch with the same specifications in India.
It comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout. The screen has a 1080 x 2400 resolution and comes with 120Hz refresh rate support. Moreover, the device has a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the iQOO 7 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The processor is paired with up to 12GB of RAM in China. It comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device also has a new Vapour Chamber for better heat dissipation.
On the back, the iQOO 7 gets a triple-camera setup. There is a 48MP f/1.79 primary camera with OIS and EIS. It also has a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 13MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom, and 20x digital zoom. The device comes with a 16MP front camera.
The device runs on Android 11 with OriginOS on top of it. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM support, and USB Type-C port.
