iQoo 9: expected specifications

The iQoo 9 has already appeared across a number of leaks, thereby giving us a fair amount of idea in terms of what it may come with. One of the key elements is that it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor by Qualcomm, and therefore, may turn out to be one of the first flagship phones in the world to feature the company’s newly rebranded flagship processor.

Reports state that both iQoo 9 and a purported ‘Pro’ variant, called the iQoo 9 Pro, would also feature the flagship Snapdragon chip. In terms of other features, the iQoo 9 is also said to feature an independent display chip, which in turn would enable up to 120Hz variable refresh rate on the device. The display itself is expected to use an AMOLED panel, which is in line with expectations from a premium smartphone in the world today.

Other expected features include dual X-axis linear vibration motor, and two pressure sensitive shoulder buttons for gaming. It is also said to come with two speakers, which is likely to offer a stereo audio experience. The exact camera details right now, however, are under wraps, as is the exact display size and battery size that the phones may come with.

The leaks, however, have suggested that the iQoo 9 may come with gimbal stabilisation in its rear camera, which in turn may make for one of its key new features. More details should come our way soon, as well as word on whether the device would be launched in India, too.
