To recall, the iQoo 8 was launched back in August 2021 in China. The brand had decided to skip iQoo 8 series launch for the Indian market. The iQoo 8 features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the iQoo 9 Pro has a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

iQoo 8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, while the iQoo 9 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. iQoo 8 offers a 4,350mAh battery unit, whereas, the iQoo 9 Pro offers a 4,700mAh battery unit. Both these devices support 120W fast charging.

The iQoo 8 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP portrait lens. On the other side, the iQoo 9 Pro offers a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP portrait lens. Both the devices offer a 16MP front shooter.

iQoo isn’t following this strategy for the first time. Last year, the brand had launched the iQoo Neo 5 5G as the iQoo 7 in India. Also, iQoo 7 (Chinese variant) was launched as iQoo 7 Legend in the country.
