iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro made their debut last week in the Chinese market. The iQoo 9 series India launch has already been confirmed by the brand. However, the company will launch the iQoo 8 (Chinese variant) as iQoo 9 in India.
Now, a new tip by Yogesh Brar suggests that the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro Indian variants won’t be the same as the iQoo 8 and iQoo 9 Pro (Chinese variant). Brar claims that the Indian variants will have modified hardware and the company will remove some features from these devices to keep the cost low.

SD888 on the vanilla model
SD8 Gen 1 on the Pro model
These won't be the exact same ones launched in China, some features/hardware will be removed to keep the cost down.
