iQOO 9T India launch date has been announced. The new premium Android smartphone from iQOO will launch in India on August 2. iQOO has revealed the design and some other specifications of the phone ahead of its launch. Based on the confirmed details, it is safe to say that the 9T 5G is a rebadged iQOO 10 5G, which was launched earlier this month in China.

iQOO 9T 5G India Launch Details

iQOO 9T will launch on August 2 to take on the OnePlus 10T 5G, which debuts globally on August 3. The company has also teased the pricing details of the phone. According to the Amazon microsite, the 9T 5G is India’s most powerful smartphone under Rs 55,000. We can expect the 9T 5G’s price to be around Rs 50,000 for the base model. iQOO 10 5G price in China starts at CNY 3699 (roughly Rs 43,900) for the base model.

The phone is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a V1+ chip. The latter will help offer better gaming and camera performance. A Google Play Console listing spotted by 91Mobiles further reveals that the phone will come with at least 8GB of RAM. Considering the phone is a rebadged iQOO 10 5G from China, we can list down its other specs.

The phone sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The display is flat and has a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone has a dual-tone back. It will launch in Alpha Black and Legend colours. The latter will have BMW sports car-inspired black, blue and red colour stripes on the back. The top portion of the back panel will sport a triple-camera setup. It has a Samsung GN5 50MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide and a 12MP telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera.

The 9T 5G packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It will run Android 12 out of the box with a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top.
