iQOO to Launch First Phone With Snapdragon 768G in India on Amazon

iQOO India has confirmed the launch of a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G powered smartphone in the country. This should be the iQOO Z3 5G smartphone that launched in China back in the month of March. To recall, earlier this week, a leak surfaced on the web revealing that iQOO is bringing its Z series of devices to the Indian market. The iQOO Z3 5G smartphone is said to launch in India in mid June. Additionally, iQOO India has also revealed that the upcoming iQOO smartphone will be an Amazon exclusive. iQOO Z3 5G: Specifications, and Features

The iQOO Z3 features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 2408×1080 pixel resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display on the handset is also HDR10+ certified.

The iQOO Z3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor built on a 7nm fabrication process. While, the graphics duties are handled by an integrated Adreno 620 GPU. The handset packs up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256 UFS 2.2 storage. The Chinese variant of the Z3 boots Android 11 based iQOO UI 1.0, but we can expect it to run Android 11 based FunTouchOS.

Moving to optics, the smartphone features a triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor, that gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the handset offers a 16MP shooter for selfies, and video calls.

The iQOO Z3 5G packs a 4400mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Type-C charging port.
