Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has finally taken the wraps off its latest 5G offering, the iQOO Neo 3 in China. The iQOO Neo 3 comes with flagship-level specifications and features at a pretty aggressive pricing. The primary specifications of the iQOO Neo 3 include the likes of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, 44W fast charging, and a 144Hz refresh rate display, to name a few. Well, without waiting any further, take a look at the prices, availability, specifications, and features of the newly launched iQOO Neo 3 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.

iQOO Neo 3: Price and Availability

The iQOO Neo 3 is launched in four memory variants in China. The base variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is priced at CNY 2,698. The second variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is priced at CNY 2,998. The third variant features 12GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage and is priced at CNY 3,298. Lastly, the top of the line variant of the iQOO Neo 3, which features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, is kept at an asking price tag of CNY 3,398.

Starting with the display of the device, the iQOO Neo 3 sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel, which comes with a 2,408 x 1,080 pixel resolution. The iQOO Neo 3 features a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and is HDR10+ certified. The device features a 144Hz refresh rate and comes with DCI-P3 color gamut and 96 percent NTSC color gamut. Since the iQOO Neo 3 display is LCD, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device measures 163.71 x 75.55 x 8.93mm and weighs in at 198.1 grams.

Under the hood, the iQOO Neo 3 is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform, which is built on a 7nm architecture. The processor is clubbed with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. As far as software is concerned, the iQOO Neo 3 ships the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house iQOO UI baked on top of it.

For the camera enthusiasts out there, the iQOO Neo 3 sports a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 120 degrees field of view, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the iQOO Neo 3 flaunts a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera finds its way underneath a single punch-hole cutout, which is located in the top left corner of the device’s display.

Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO Neo 3 boasts a 4,500mAh battery, which has provision for 44W Super FlashCharge 2.0 fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The iQOO Neo 3 (thankfully) retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity features of the iQOO Neo 3 include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C.
