Not too long ago, Vivo’s sub-brand launched its 5G flagship smartphone dubbed the iQOO 3 5G. The device became one of the first 5G smartphones in India. The iQOO 3 5G smartphone features flagship specifications like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G mobile platform, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and 55W Super FlashCharge fast charging. The company is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone under the iQOO 3 lineup of smartphones, dubbed the iQOO Neo 3. Today, the brand broke the news via its official social media handles. iQOO Neo 3 to Launch Soon; Company Confirms
As mentioned earlier, the iQOO official Weibo account teased the launch of the iQOO Neo 3 smartphone today. The Weibo post also revealed some key specifications and features of the device. Notably, the iQOO Neo 3 will also be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
Furthermore, the device will feature a higher refresh rate display. For those unaware, the iQOO 3 5G smartphone features a 60Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch response rate. Though we are not really sure as to whether the iQOO Neo 3 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate panel or it will go beyond that, but at least it looks like it will be higher than the vanilla iQOO 3 5G model. As far as the iQOO 3 smartphone is concerned, it comes with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness. There is a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. Speaking of, the iQOO 3 flaunts a 16MP selfie snapper with f/2.45 aperture. Moving around on the back of the device, the iQOO 3 features a quadruple camera setup – 48MP primary (f/1.79 aperture) + 13MP telephoto (f/2.46 aperture) + 13MP ultrawide (f/2.2 aperture) + 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture).
Under the hood, the iQOO 3 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which is assisted by 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. In the software department, the iQOO 3 5G runs on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house iQOO UI baked on top of it.
Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO 3 5G is fueled by a 4,440mAh battery, which has provision for up to 55W Super FlashCharge fast charging. Connectivity features include Dual-SIM, 4G (8GB RAM variant), 5G (12GB RAM variant), dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (ax/ac/b/g/n), Bluetooth v5.1, and a USB Type-C port.
