iQOO Neo 5s launch
iQOO Neo 5s will debut as a new smartphone under the Neo 5 series in China on December 20. The device’s specs have leaked in the past. Ahead of the official launch, the company has only confirmed that the device will feature Origin OS Ocean. The new version comes with a new lock screen design, live wallpapers, nano notifications, a nano music player, and several other changes in the user interface.
A live image of the device had leaked earlier this week. It revealed that the phone will sport a flat display. The screen is said to be 6.56-inch tall and has an OLED panel. It will have a hole-punch cutout at the top centre of the screen. The screen is surrounded by thin bezels, except for the slightly thick chin. In addition to this, leaked details reveal that the phone will draw power from a Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and 120Hz refresh rate support. On the back, the phone will have a triple-camera setup. It will have a 48MP primary camera with support for OIS. For selfies, there could be a 16MP front camera. The device is also rumoured to pack a 4,500mAh battery and offer up to 66W fast charging. More details of the device should surface as we get closer to the launch.
