Possible iQoo Neo 6 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM Listed on Geekbench, Could be Revealed Soon

Earlier today, a possible iQoo Neo 6 series Indian variant was spotted on the geekbench listing revealing some of the key features of the device including Snapdragon 778G SoC, 6GB RAM, Android 12 OS, and much more. Now, a new device with a V2196A model number has been spotted on the popular benchmarking platform revealing the presence of the flagship-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 12GB RAM, and much more.

While the listing mentions, this as a Vivo device, going by the past leaks and rumours, this could well be an upcoming iQoo smartphone and this could also be the iQoo Neo 6. While the earlier one was a device or a variant in the iQoo Neo 6 series, the one found currently could be the iQoo Neo 6. This could end up as a China-specific variant as well.

iQoo Neo 6 Spotted on Geekbench

A smartphone with the V2196A model number, which is said to be the iQoo Neo 6 has been spotted on the Geekbench database now and as per the listing, this device will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with the motherboard codenamed “taro”. This is none other than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This flagship SoC comes with one core clocked at 3GHz, three cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.79GHz.

Further, the phone is said to come with 12GB of RAM, as per the listing. But, we can also expect more RAM options along with multiple storage options. Lastly, the database also reveals the phone will run on Android 12.

A few days back, iQoo Neo 6 with the same V2196A model number was spotted on the TENAA website revealing more specifications of the device. The Neo 6 is said to come with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ screen and the device is said to come with a 2,290mAh dual-cell battery unit, which should be a 4,700mAh battery. Further, the phone will measure 163X76.16X8.5mm and it will run on Android 12 out of the box.

A couple of weeks back, the phone with the same model was also spotted on the 3C certification website in China revealing an 80W (20v, 4A) wired charging speed, support for 5G network.
