iQOO has launched its new premium mid-range smartphone in India. The company has officially launched the iQOO Neo 7 5G in the country. The Neo 7 5G is a rebadged version of the Neo 7 SE 5G, which was launched in China. The device has a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is based on a 4nm process. The Neo 7 5G will take on the likes of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, Nothing Phone (1) and other premium smartphones under Rs 30,000.

The phone comes with many upgrades over the Neo 6 5G. It has a bigger display and battery with support for even faster charging out of the box. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 5G price in India, specifications and other details.

iQOO Neo 7 5G Price in India and Specifications 

The iQOO Neo 7 5G has been launched in India with two storage options. The base model features 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is priced at Rs 28,499. There is also a 12GB RAM variant with 256GB storage that is priced at Rs 32,499. Both variants come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. They will be available for purchase in two colour options — Interstellar Black and Frost Blue.

As part of the launch offers, the device will be available for a flat Rs 1,500 instant discount on bank debit/credit and EMI transactions. The iQOO Neo 7 5G will be available for purchase via the iQOO E-store and Amazon. The device goes on sale from today at 1PM.

In terms of hardware, the phone has a plastic frame and body. It has a square-shaped camera module on the back with a dual-tone design. There is a triple rear camera setup. The phone has a 64MP primary camera with OIS support, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The Neo 7 5G does not get an 8MP ultra-wide camera, which was a part of the Neo 6 5G camera setup. 

For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout for selfies and video calls. The Neo 7 5G has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers 1300 nits of peak brightness and HDR10+ certification.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The SoC is based on TSMC’s 4nm process and features a Mali-G610 GPU. There is a beefy 5000mAh battery as well. The phone comes with support for 120W fast charging. In case you are wondering, there is a charger in the box.

The device features an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support. The Neo 7 5G also has dual speakers, support for Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi. It boots Android 13 out of the box. There is a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android. iQOO has confirmed that the device will get two major Android updates and three years of software support. This means that users will get the upcoming Android 14 update, followed by Android 15.
