iQOO Neo 7 5G India launch event will be hosted next week in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Neo 7 5G in India on February 16. The Neo 7 5G will debut as a rebadged version of the Neo 7 SE 5G from China. The phone will be the first in India to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. It will also come with an upgraded battery and charging tech. What remains under wraps is the pricing, RAM and storage options.
iQOO will announce the India price and sale date of the Neo 7 at the event on February 16. Ahead of the official launch, a new leak has revealed the details about the price, RAM, storage and colour options of the Neo 7 5G.
iQOO Neo 7 5G India Price and Sale Details
The iQOO Neo 7 5G will launch as a successor to the Neo 6 5G. The phone is likely to receive a slightly price bump compared to its predecessor. The Neo 7 5G is expected to launch in two storage options. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will be a higher 12GB RAM option with 256GB of storage as well. According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Neo 7 5G 12GB RAM variant will be launched in India for Rs 34,999. This is an increment of Rs 1,000 over the 12GB RAM variant of the Neo 6 5G, which was launched for Rs 33,999.
The tipster also claimed that the phone will launch with a cashback offer of Rs 4,000, which will include bank and exchange offers. The phone will launch in Interstellar Black and Frost Blue colours.
Effectively, the device will be available for Rs 30,999. The tipster did not reveal the pricing details of the 8GB RAM variant of the Neo 7 5G.
He, however, revealed that the Neo 7 5G will go on sale from February 19 or 20 in India. The phone is expected to be available via Amazon, iQOO e-store and Vivo offline stores.
We recently revealed that the iQOO Neo 7 5G India variant’s AnTuTu score and other benchmark test details. The phone performed better than the Dimensity 8100 SoC and the Snapdragon 870 SoC in these tests.
The device is also confirmed to feature a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging out of the box. In addition to this, the Neo 7 5G will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen is flat and has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The Neo 7 5G supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, there is a 64MP triple-camera setup. The phone has a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front camera.
