Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is set to launch iQOO Neo 7 on February 16 in India. It is a successor to the existing iQOO Neo 6 smartphone, which has performed well in the market. The Neo series offers flagship specifications at a mid-range specification. The Neo 6 became the best-selling smartphone on Amazon.in on the launch day itself.
We look forward to whether the upcoming Neo 7 will break its predecessor’s record in India. The specifications of iQOO Neo 7 are known since iQOO has already launched the smartphone in China. Ahead of the Indian launch, we considered comparing Neo 6 and Neo 7 smartphones to give our readers an idea of the upcoming product.

The Neo 7 features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 870 found on the Neo 6. iQOO has increased the device’s battery capacity to 5000mAh and supports faster 120W fast charging tech. In contrast, the Neo 6 had a smaller 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging tech. The brand has also increased the number of 5G bands to eight. It also uses the latest Bluetooth 5.3 instead of Bluetooth 5.2 used in Neo 6.
The iQOO Neo 7 will run on Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android 13 out of the box. There are no significant changes in the design of the smartphones apart from the rectangular camera module found in Neo 7. It will be available in three colour options instead of two in Neo 6. The new colour options are Orange, Blue, and Black.
