iQOO has confirmed (via) that the Neo 7 will feature MediaTek’s flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9000+. The company also revealed the performance bumps coming with the new SoC and revealed the AnTuTu score of the Neo 7. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 specifications, features and other details known so far.

iQOO Neo 7 AnTuTu Score

iQOO Neo 7 will be the company’s new premium smartphone to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC under the hood. The chipset is a significant upgrade over the Neo 6 in India, which features a Snapdragon 870 SoC. The new Dimensity 9000+ SoC is custom-tuned for the Neo 7 5G to provide performance improvements while ensuring good efficiency.

iQOO claims that the phone scored 1080717 on AnTuTu. If the claim is true, the Neo 7 will sit below the top-end gaming smartphones on AnTuTu such as the likes of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series and the Nubia Red Magic 7 series.

The Dimensity 9000+ SoC offers 5 per cent performance improvements and 10 per cent better efficiency than the Dimensity 9000 SoC.

The phone is also confirmed to feature an independent display chip, which is also found in the iQOO 9 in India. The Neo 7 will be the first Neo-series phone to feature an independent chip. It unlocks features such as frame rate interpolation for a better gaming experience.

Other details of the phone have leaked as well. The Neo 7 will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. It is likely to feature a 50MP Sony IMX766V main camera with OIS. There will be a 6.78-inch Full HD+ E5 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

iQOO is likely to launch the phone in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. It will run Android 13 out of the box with a layer of Origin OS on top for the Chinese market. The global variant could feature Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
