iQOO recently launched the Neo 6 in India. The India variant of the iQOO Neo 6 comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC and a 120Hz AMOLED display. It looks like the company is already working on a successor model to the Neo 6. According to a new leak, the iQOO Neo 7 launch is imminent.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has listed some of the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO smartphone. The Neo 7 is said to pack MediaTek’s highest-end Dimensity chipset under the hood. Let’s take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 leaked specifications, features and other details known so far.

iQOO Neo 7 Specifications 

iQOO Neo 7 will be a new premium smartphone offering from the Vivo sub-brand. The device is expected to launch in the coming weeks. iQOO will first launch the phone in China, followed by other markets. The Neo 7 is expected to launch later this year in India.


Tipster Digital Chat Station (via) claimed that the Neo 7 is likely to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC under the hood. The chipset was launched earlier this year as a successor to the Dimensity 9000 SoC with some incremental upgrades. The 4nm SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.2GHz and offers 5 per cent CPU gains along with 10 per cent GPU improvements.

The Neo 7 is expected to debut in China in August or September. The exact launch date of the Neo 7 is unknown at the moment. The phone is expected to sport a 6.78-inch or a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It will have a 29:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ display. The device will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout.

On the back, there could be a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto portrait camera. The phone will pack a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. iQOO is likely to launch the phone with up to 12GB of RAM. It will launch with Origin OS Ocean in China based on Android 12.
