iQOO has confirmed the launch of the Neo 7 Pro in India. The company is yet to reveal the launch date of the first Neo Pro series phone in India. As per rumours, the phone will debut in India by the end of June. Before iQOO confirms the launch date officially, a new leak has revealed some key details about the upcoming device. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed the alleged launch timeline of the Neo 7 Pro. The tipster also listed some of the phone’s key specifications, suggesting that the device will be a rebadged version of another Neo series phone from China.
It was previously speculated that the Neo 7 Pro in India would be a rebadged version of the Neo 7 Racing Edition. Yadav’s claim contradicts these rumours and states that the Neo 7 Pro launching in India is actually the Neo 8 5G from China. iQOO Neo 7 Pro: India Launch Date Tipped, Could be Rebranded Neo 8 5G
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be a premium smartphone offering in India. According to a new leak, The device will likely launch in the third week of June. Yadav claims the Neo 7 Pro India launch event will be held around June 20.
The tipster also posted the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Neo series smartphone. Based on the leaked specifications, it looks like the phone will launch as a rebadged version of the Neo 8 5G from China. iQOO launched the Neo 8 series last month in China. The Neo 8 Pro features a Dimensity 9200+ SoC, whereas the Neo 8 has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The Neo 7 Racing Edition has the same SoC as the Neo 8 5G. However, the Neo 8 5G has a smoother display with a higher resolution—both phones some similar batteries and fast-charging tech. However, when it comes to the camera system, the Neo 7 Racing Edition looks better on paper with an additional 8MP ultra-wide sensor, which is missing in the Neo 8 5G.
The Neo 7 Pro is expected to be priced under Rs 40,000 in India and will take on the likes of the OnePlus 11R 5G, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and the Vivo V27 Pro 5G in India. However, if the leaked specs are true, the Neo 7 Pro might be positioned as a performance-focused device instead of an all-rounder premium smartphone with a versatile camera setup.
