iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition launch is imminent. The company has launched two smartphones in the Neo 7 lineup already, which are the Neo 7 and the Neo 7 SE. The Neo 7 SE could arrive in India as the Neo 7 5G sometime next year. The company is yet to confirm any details about the same. Meanwhile, the Neo 7 Racing Edition will launch in China on December 29. The device will come with some premium hardware and sit above the Neo 7 SE.
iQOO has already confirmed that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In comparison, the Neo 7 5G China variant, which was launched earlier this year, features a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition will be a performance-focused premium smartphone with flagship-grade hardware under the hood. The phone is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. iQOO has now revealed the battery specs of the phone. The Neo 7 Racing Edition will feature a 5000mAh battery under the hood. iQOO has also confirmed that the device will ship with support for 120W fast charging out of the box. The proprietary charging tech can refill the phone’s battery from 1 to 50 per cent in eight minutes.
In addition to the above details, the company has confirmed that the phone will feature a new Pro+ display chip but details about the same are under wraps.
iQOO is expected to reveal some more details about the Racing Edition smartphone in the coming days. Meanwhile, the rumour mill has revealed some specifications of the phone. The Neo 7 Racing Edition is likely to launch with 16GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage. The phone is also likely to launch with 8GB/ 12GB RAM options.
On the front, there will be a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen is likely to remain flat and offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.
The camera specifications of the phone are currently under wraps. The rumour mill too has not managed to get many details about the same.
