The company has confirmed the launch of its new premium smartphone, which will the third in the Neo 7 series in China. iQOO has already launched the Neo 7 and Neo 7 SE in China. The Neo 7 Racing Edition will sit at the top of the lineup in terms of performance. The company has already confirmed the performance unit details about the phone.

The latest teaser reveals the display details of the phone. According to the teaser posted on Weibo, the Neo 7 Racing Edition will have the same display size as the more premium iQOO 11 series. iQOO has revealed the first design teaser of the Neo 7 Racing Edition ahead of the December 29 launch, which reveals its display. The teaser (via) shows that the phone has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The screen is also flat and has fairly thin bezels around it.

iQOO revealed that the phone has an E5 AMOLED display, which should consume about 25 per cent less power than the previous generation E4 AMOLED display. The phone is also confirmed to sport a 6.78-inch display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition to this, the company has confirmed that the device will feature a dedicated Pro+ display chip, which will help with features like frame rate interpolation, image rendering, etc.

iQOO has also confirmed that the phone will pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It will support 120W fast charging out of the box, which is claimed to charge the battery from 1 to 50 per cent in eight minutes.

The phone is also confirmed to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. There will be up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The phone is said to feature a triple-camera setup on the back. It is likely to come with a 50MP Samsung GN5 main camera sensor on the back. The details about the other two sensors are unknown at the moment. 

iQOO might launch the phone in India early next year. The device could launch as the iQOO 11 SE in India as a successor to the iQOO 9 SE, which was launched earlier this year. The company has not confirmed any details about the same. The official pricing details for the Chinese market, meanwhile, will be announced on December 29.
