iQO is gearing up for the launch of the 11 series soon. The company is expected to launch two premium phones as part of its flagship series. These include the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro. Alongside, the company is also expected to launch the iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G. The new Neo 7 series phone is likely to debut in November or December 2022. There is no word on the exact launch date. Meanwhile, details about the iQOO Neo 7 SE 5G have started surfacing online.
A new report reveals that the Neo 7 SE 5G will feature an upcoming MediaTek Dimensity SoC under the hood. It is not the flagship Dimensity 9200 SoC, which is expected to launch soon. Instead, the company is said to feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC at heart. The piece of information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), who revealed some more details about the chipset.
iQOO Neo 7 SE Performance Unit Details Leaked
The iQOO Neo 7 SE is said to feature an unreleased SoC under the hood. The device will feature the upcoming Dimensity 8200 SoC, which could be unveiled soon. DCS further revealed (via) that the upcoming premium Dimensity 8200 SoC will feature one Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.1GHz. The same primary core is found in the Dimensity 9000 SoC.
We can expect the Dimensity 8200 SoC to offer powerful performance while focusing on efficiency. The company is expected to confirm more details soon. According to rumours, the Dimensity 8200 SoC could be unveiled alongside the flagship Dimensity 9200 SoC on November 9.
Other details of the Neo 7 SE 5G have leaked as well. According to a recent report, the device will sport an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The display will be 6.78-inch tall and feature a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The device will launch with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. The phone will also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for an upgraded 120W fast charging support.
On the back, the Neo 7 SE 5G will feature a 50MP main camera setup. The primary camera will support optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will be backed by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone could also feature a 16MP front camera.
