iQOO recently launched the iQOO Neo 7 smartphone in the Indian market. The company’s Neo 7 lineup in China consists of three devices – iQOO Neo 7, iQOO Neo 7 SE, and iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. It seems like the company is finally done with the Neo 7 series and the company has started working on the Neo 8 series. A new tip by the famous Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Neo 8.

Digital Chat Station claims that the iQOO Neo 8 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. To those unaware, the company uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ on the current generation Neo 7. Apart from it, the tipster has also revealed some of the key specifications of the device. Let us take a closer look at what the iQOO Neo 8 might have in store for us.

iQOO Neo 8: Leaked Specifications

As per the latest leak, the iQOO Neo 8 will sport a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor under the hood. To those unaware, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ is yet to be released and it is expected to be an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9200. As per the leaks, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ could be at par with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Digital Chat Station further reveals that the iQOO Neo 8 will feature up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. Also, the upcoming Neo series smartphone is tipped to sport up to 512GB UFS 4.0 memory under the hood. The tipster also claims that the iQOO Neo 8 will compete against the upcoming Redmi K60 Ultra.

The iQOO Neo 7 offers a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1500nits peak brightness, and a centered punch hole notch. The smartphone, as mentioned above, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor and a Mali G710 MC10 GPU. It comes paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone boots Android 12 based OriginOS.

The iQOO Neo 7 comes equipped with a 5000mAH battery unit. It supports 120W fast charging and features a Type-C charging port. The smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with optical image stabilisation. It gets accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. It relies on a 16MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
