Ahead of the official launch, iQOO has confirmed several specifications of the upcoming smartphones, including the AnTuTu score. iQOO has been teasing the specifications of its upcoming Neo 8 series ahead of the March 23 launch. The company has been posting details about the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro, confirmed by the brand to be two premium models in the lineup, on Weibo. The brand has already revealed the design, processor, camera, benchmarking score, and more. In the latest Weibo post, iQOO has revealed that the vanilla Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro will come with a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging. The company also confirmed that the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro will charge from 1% to 50% in 9 minutes. Notably, the iQOO Neo 7launched earlier this year in India, also featured 120W fast charging.


As for the other specs of the device, iQOO has revealed the rear panel of the Neo 8 series, confirming that these smartphones will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The brand has also confirmed that the upcoming smartphones will feature a 50MP Sony IMX866V primary camera sensor with OIS support. Previously, iQOO has confirmed that these devices will feature the top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and upgrade from Dimensity 8200 on the predecessor.

The SoC flaunts a peak clock speed of 3.35GHz and is based on a 4nm fabrication. The processor is confirmed to be backed by the V1+ image signal processor (ISP), Mali-G715 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. iQOO has also revealed the AnTuTu Benchmark of the Neo 8 Pro (13,63,206 points), the highest AnTuTu score in any Android phone. The Neo 8 Series is also confirmed to come with a 144Hz display. They will likely have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution.
