It has been a few months since the launch of the Neo 7 series in the company’s home country, and now, iQOO is gearing up for the launch of the Neo 8 series in China. The company is expected to launch two premium smartphones in the lineup. These will be called the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro. A new leak has now revealed the launch date of the iQOO Neo 8 series in China.

Alongside the premium smartphones, iQOO is also said to launch its first Android tablet, the iQOO Pad, on the same date. Unfortunately, nothing about the iQOO Pad is known at the moment. iQOO Neo 8 Series, iQOO Pad: What is Known So Far
The iQOO Neo 8 series and the iQOO Pad are rumoured to launch later this month in China. The Neo 8 series will include two premium phones. iQOO is likely to launch the devices in China on May 23. However, the company has not confirmed any details about the same. However, the posters shared by tipster Panda is Bald reveal the alleged launch date of the Neo 8 series and the iQOO Pad.
The company is likely to announce the launch date of the Neo 8 series on May 10. iQOO has already revealed that its upcoming premium smartphone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, launched a few days back. The Neo 8 Pro will likely feature the new MediaTek flagship SoC, whereas the vanilla Neo 8 5G might pack a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The Neo 8 Pro was spotted on the 3C certification website with 120W fast charging support. It was also spotted on Geekbench with a Dimensity 9200+ SoC and 16GB of RAM. The device scored 2034 and 5245 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests. It will boot Android 13 out of the box. The phone scored over 1.3 million on AnTuTu and outperformed the ROG Phone 7’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The phone is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz PWM Dimming. There will be support for a 120Hz refresh rate as well. There will be a triple-camera setup on the back. The Neo 8 Pro will likely feature a 50MP 1/1.5-inch primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. Details about the other two sensors are unknown at the moment. The phone is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery.
