iQOO Neo7 Tipped to Come with Dimensity 9000+ SoC, 50MP IMX766V Camera, Expected to Launch Soon

iQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo smartphones is gearing up to launch a new device in the Neo series soon in China. The company is prepping to launch the successor to the iQOO Neo 6 called the iQoo Neo 7. The Neo 7 is expected to launch in China in the coming weeks. The iQOO Neo 6 was launched in China back in April with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz display, and 80W fast charging.

Though the iQOO Neo 6 was launched in India back in May, it was a different phone with Snapdragon 870 SoC as it was a rebranded iQOO Neo 6 SE from China. Now, the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 is expected to launch in China first, which means it will be the successor to the flagship grade iQOO Neo 6. Ahead of the launch, a popular tipster on Weibo, Digital Chat Station has revealed a few key specifications of the device. Let’s take a look at the same.

iQOO Neo 7: Expected Specifications

The upcoming iQOO Neo 7 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, which is currently the company’s best and top-end offering. This SoC is built on a 4nm process, the SoC has one Cortex-X2 core clocked at 3.2GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores. It is paired with Mali-G710 GPU.


Further, the iQOO Neo 7 is tipped to feature a Full HD resolution display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. We can expect the device to feature an AMOLED display. The phone is said to come with some eye-protecting features. As for the optics, the phone is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX 766V main camera. We are expecting the device to feature a triple camera setup on the back.

More details about the camera are yet to be known at the moment. The upcoming iQOO Neo series phone will feature a 120W fast charging speed, which will be an upgrade from the 80W charging speed on the last gen device. Other expected features include an optical fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, NFC, and linear motor.
