The tablet will likely debut alongside the upcoming Neo 8 series in China. At the time, the leak did not reveal any details about the iQOO tablet other than revealing its launch date. Now, a new leak on Weibo has revealed the design render of the upcoming iQOO tab ahead of its launch.
The leaked design renders show the front and back of the iQOO Pad. The tipster also revealed some other details about the Android tablet. Let’s look at the iQOO Pad design, specifications and other details.
iQOO Pad Specifications Leaked
The iQOO Pad will likely be a premium Android tablet offering. The company is expected to launch its first Android tab on May 23. However, a new leak has revealed the design of the iQOO tablet before the launch.
The image reveals that the tablet has slightly thick bezels around the screen. The front camera is located on the taller bezel, which essentially is the right bezel when held vertically.
While the exact screen size is unknown, the tipster revealed that the iQOO Pad’s display might be around 12 inches diagonally tall. The device will draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The choice of SoC puts the iQOO Pad against the OnePlus Pad, launched with a Dimensity 9000 SoC in India and China.
In addition, the Weibo leakster revealed that the iQOO tablet would have an all-metal design. For an enhanced multimedia experience, the tablet will have a quad-speaker setup. On the back, there is a small square-shaped camera module for the dual-camera setup and an LED flash. We can also see some Pogo connector pins at the bottom.
The tipster claimed that the price of the upcoming iQOO tablet will be set between CNY 2,000 to CNY 2,500 (roughly Rs 23,600-Rs 29,500). If launched in India, we can expect the iQOO Pad’s price to be slightly higher.
The tipster did not reveal the RAM, storage, battery capacity and charging details of the iQOO tab. The company, too, has not confirmed any details about the launch of the rumoured Android tablet. Therefore, we advise taking the leaked details with a pinch of salt until officially confirmed.
