iQOO has confirmed to launch its first tablet, the iQOO Pad later this month. The company will launch the iQOO Pad at the Neo 8 series launch event, which is set to be hosted on May 23. The company has been teasing some of the key specifications of its new Android tablet ahead of the official event on May 23. Now, new details about the iQOO tablet have surfaced online, which reveal the storage configuration of the device.
According to a listing on JD.com spotted by IT Home, the iQOO tab will launch in as many as four storage configurations. Moreover, the listing also revealed that the device will be available with up to 512GB of storage. iQOO Pad Key Details Revealed Online
The iQOO Pad will be a premium Android tablet launching in China later this month. iQOO might launch the tablet in other markets, including India. The company has been teasing the features of its first Android tablet. Meanwhile, a JD listing has revealed that the device will launch in four storage configurations. The iQOO Pad will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM options.
The base model of the tablet will launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will also be a 256GB storage option for the tablet with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. The top storage option will offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
As per the listing, the iQOO tablet will launch in a single grey colour option. iQOO has already teased the design of the tablet, which reveals a flat frame with curved corners. The tablet has a slim profile and sports a circular camera module on the back. We can see a dual-camera setup and an LED flash inside the camera module.
On the front, the display is surrounded by fairly narrow bezels for a tablet. The front camera is positioned on the longer bezel, which is more suitable for video calls. The bottom edge houses the USB Type-C port and two grilles for the speaker.
iQOO Pad Key Specifications and Features
The iQOO Pad is tipped to feature a Dimensity 9000+ SoC under the hood, which is quite a powerful SoC. It is also likely to launch with a massive 10000mAh battery and offers 44W fast charging support.
On the front, the tablet is likely to feature a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a 2.8K resolution display. It will offer a 144Hz refresh rate and support for up to 600 nits of peak brightness. The device will have a metal build. It will weigh about 585 grams and measure about 6.59mm, according to some leaks.
The tablet is likely to run Android 13 out of the box. It will have a layer of Origin OS 3 on top of Android in China. There is no word on whether the iQOO tablet will launch in India or other markets. We will share more details as and when available.
