iQOO is all set to launch the iQOO Neo 8 smartphone in the Chinese market. Alongside, the iQOO Neo 8, iQOO will also launch its first Android tablet – the iQOO Pad on May 23. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has now confirmed that the iQOO Pad will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor.
Alongside, iQOO has also revealed that the iQOO Pad will feature a 12.1-inch display panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The tablet is already confirmed to feature a flat-edge design and a circular camera module. Let us take a closer look at the iQOO Pad’s specifications and features.
iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Pad will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. The Dimensity 9000+ is the company’s flagship processor and is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process. It brings with it an octa-core CPU with a 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration. The Dimensity 9000+ features a Cortex-X2 core (clocked at 3.2GHz) and three Cortex A710 cores (clocked at 2.85GHz each).
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+, which will power the iQOO Pad, comes paired with Mali G710 MC10 GPU. The tablet will feature a 14442 square mm heat dissipation area as per the teaser. iQOO has also confirmed that the iQOO Pad will feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
iQOO has shared another teaser that confirms the specifications of its upcoming tablet. The iQOO Pad, as per the teaser will feature a 12.1-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be a 2.8K resolution display which will support 600nits peak brightness and HDR10 support. It will feature support for 1.07 billion colours and will also have hardware-level blue light control.
Earlier, the iQOO Pad was spotted on a Chinese e-commerce portal – JD which revealed the colour options and configuration variants. As per the listing, the iQOO Pad will come in a single colour variant, that is grey. However, users will have the option to choose between 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB configuration variants.
The iQOO Pad will feature a flat edge design with curved corners. The upcoming tablet will feature a circular camera module which will accommodate the dual camera setup and an LED flash. It will have a landscape mode front camera placement. The tablet will weigh around 585 grams and will be around 6.59 mm thick.
The iQOO Pad will come equipped with a 10000mAh battery unit. It will feature support for 44W fast charging over a Type-C charging port. It will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
