A new report has now revealed some key specifications of the upcoming iQOO Z-series phones. A MySmartPrice Hindi report claims that iQOO will launch its most affordable 5G smartphone in September.
The official name of the upcoming 5G smartphone from iQOO is unknown. It could be the upcoming Z6 Lite, which has been the talk of the rumour town for quite some time. The report also revealed the processor details of the upcoming device. Let’s take a look at the upcoming iQOO Z-series 5G smartphone details known so far.
iQOO Z-Series 5G Smartphone India Launch
iQOO will launch its most affordable 5G smartphone in September in India. The phone could be the rumoured iQOO Z6 Lite 5G, which is expected to launch soon. According to MySmartPrice Hindi, the upcoming Z-series 5G smartphone will feature a Snapdragon 4-series processor under the hood. Qualcomm’s current 4-series lineup includes the Snapdragon 480+ SoC and the Snapdragon 480 SoC, which offer 5G network support. It is likely that the former will be a part of the upcoming iQOO smartphone.
The report does not reveal any details about the chipset other than the series it belongs to. What it did reveal though is that this Snapdragon 4-series SoC will compete against MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 SoC. The MediaTek 5G SoC has been a popular choice in the budget smartphone segment and is found in several phones, including the likes of Realme, POCO, Redmi, etc.
Other details of the upcoming iQOO 5G phone are not known at the moment. If the device is indeed the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G, it could feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate support. There will be a 50MP dual-camera setup on the back. The phone is also likely to feature an 8MP front camera. In addition to this, there could be a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
