iQOO has launched a new Z-series smartphone in China. The company has unveiled the iQOO Z3. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G processor, which is currently the only smartphone in the world to feature the processor. iQOO has also packed a fairly large battery inside the Z3 5G. On the back, the phone has a triple-camera setup. iQOO is expected to launch the device later this year in India. iQOO Z3 price
The Z3 comes in three storage options. The base variant has 6GB + 128GB storage and is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 18,800). There is also an 8GB + 128GB model priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,000). Lastly, the higher 256GB storage option with 8GB RAM is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,100). It comes in Deep Space Black, Cloud Oxygen Blue, and Nebula Gradient colours.
iQOO Z3 specifications
The iQOO Z3 features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD with a 1080 x 2408 resolution. The display sports a waterdrop-style notch for the 16MP front camera. Other display features include a 120Hz refresh rate, 96 percent NTSC colour gamut, and HDR support.
The phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor under the hood. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device packs a 4,400 mAh battery. It comes with 55W fast charging support. It comes with a liquid-cooling system for thermal management.
On the back is a triple-camera setup. The device has a 64MP primary camera sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. For selfies, the notch houses a 16MP front camera.
The device runs on Android 11-based Origin OS 1 out of the box. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, etc.
