iQOO earlier this year launched the Z3 5G in China. The company has now confirmed the launch date of its new smartphone in India. The company will launch the Z3 5G in India on June 8. It is the first smartphone in India to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G processor. The phone is rumoured to launch at around Rs 25,000 in India. iQOO’s upcoming smartphone in India will compete against the likes of the Mi 10i, Galaxy M42 5G, and other smartphones under Rs 25,000. iQOO Z3 India launch

iQOO has confirmed the Z3 5G launch date in India. The upcoming iQOO smartphone will launch on June 8 in India. 

The virtual launch event kicks off at 12.00 pm on June 8. iQOO claims that the phone is the first in India to feature a Snapdragon 768G 5G processor. The phone is confirmed to go on sale via Amazon India upon availability.


iQOO Z3 5G expected price in India and specifications 

iQOO launched the device in China at a starting price of CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs 18,800). Users get 6GB + 128GB storage for the price. A recent report claimed that the phone is likely to launch around Rs 25,000 in India.

iQOO’s latest mid-range smartphone features a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD with a 1080 x 2408 resolution. The device has a 120Hz refresh rate display, which also houses a tiny water-drop notch for the front camera. The China variant also comes with a display that has a 96 per cent NTSC colour gamut, and HDR support. As mentioned earlier, the phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 55W fast charging support.

For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera. It comes with a 64MP primary camera on the back. The triple-camera setup is completed with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera.

iQOO’s Z3 5G runs Android 11-based Origin OS 1 in China. We can expect the India variant to launch with Funtouch OS 11.1 instead.
