iQOO unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend in India a few days ago. Now, it looks like the company is prepping up for the launch of a mid-range smartphone – iQOO Z3. This particular handset in the past has cleared the required BIS certification. Now, in a recent development, the iQOO Z3 has received the IMEI certification, which does suggest us that its launch is imminent in India soon. The iQOO Z3 IMEI listing was first spotted by Mukul Sharma. The iQOO Z3 that is registered in the IMEI database carries the model number as the V2073A.

iQOO Z3 Specifications

The iQOO Z3 was first launched in China back in March. To recall, the iQOO Z3 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD with a 1080 x 2408 resolution, offering a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood is Snapdragon 768G processor. The phone ships with up to 8GB of RAM and packs 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 11 out of the box.


In terms of optics, the Z3 sports a triple-camera setup. The device features a 64MP primary camera sensor. The other two sensors the phone incorporate is an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video-calling, the phone houses a 16-megapixel camera. Connectivity-wise, the device offers dual-SIM support, 5G, WiFi 802.11 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port.

The whole package is fueled by a 4400 mAh battery that has 55W fast charging support. As far as the pricing of the phone in China go, it retails for around CNY 1,699 (Rs 18,800), for which you get a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. There’s an 8GB + 128GB model as well that retails for around CNY 1,799 (Rs 20,000). The higher-end model of all with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at around CNY 1,999 (Rs 22,100). The phone comes in Deep Space Black, Cloud Oxygen Blue, and Nebula Gradient colour option.

As of now, iQOO is yet to reveal the official launch date of the iQOO Z3 in India. Now that the device has started appearing in several certifications, we can expect the company to launch this handset soon in India in the upcoming few weeks.
