iQOO is aiming to launch a new smartphone in the Z-series dubbed as the iQOO Z5 Pro. This particular handset is in the news from the last few days courtesy of several leaks. The phone has received the prior TENAA certification in China last week. Additionally, two days back the handset was spotted at the 3C certification. Both the TENAA and 3C certifications had revealed the key specifications of the handset. Now ahead of the official launch, the hardware specifications of the iQOO Z5 Pro are revealed via the Geekbench listing. Let’s take a look at the details disclosed by the Geekbench listing ahead:
iQOO Z5 Pro Specifications Revealed
According to the preliminary Geekbench test results, the iQOO Z5 Pro (V2148A) will come with Snapdragon 778G SoC. The device will pack 8GB of RAM and it will run Android 11 out of the box. The handset has managed to pull off 3642 and 11532 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively at Geekbench. As mentioned above, the device has already gained the TENAA certification in China. As per the TENAA certification details, the iQOO Z5 Pro will have 5G connectivity support. The device also had gained the 3C certification in China two days back. According to the 3C listing, the iQOO Z5 Pro will have 44W fast charging support.
Several leaks on Weibo suggest that the iQOO Z5 Pro will feature a 120Hz LCD display. In terms of the optics department, the device is tipped to feature a 64MP primary main camera. As for security purpose, the handset is said to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 5000mAh battery might fuel the device. Alongside the iQOO Z5 Pro, we might see iQOO launching the iQOO Z5 smartphone as well. The iQOO Z5 was spotted at the IMEI website last month. The specifications of the vanilla iQOO Z5 variant remain to be a mystery at the moment. Additionally, the launch date of both the iQOO Z5 and the Z5 Pro remains to be unknown. Now that these phones have started appearing on certification websites, we can expect their launch to take place by the end of September or early October.
