iQOO Z6 China Launch Officially Teased to Take Place on August 25

The iQOO Z6 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processor.

iQOO is all set to launch a new smartphone under the Z-series in its domestic market. The company has announced that the iQOO Z6 will make its debut on August 25 in the Chinese market. The successor of the last year’s iQOO Z5 will launch in three colour variants – Black, Orange, and Blue. Apart from it, the teasers shared by the company also revealed that the device will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup and optical image stabilisation support.

iQOO has also confirmed that the upcoming Z-series device will offer 80W fast charging. Let us take a look at the iQOO Z6 marketing renders and specifications.

iQOO Z6: Design and Colour Options

The iQOO Z6 will launch in Black, Blue, and Orange colour options. The camera layout of the upcoming iQOO Z6 appears to be similar to that of the iQOO Z6 4G and iQOO Z6 Pro 5G which were launched a few months back in the Indian market. However, the flash position, as seen in the teasers, is different from the Indian variants of the iQOO Z6 series devices.

The teasers also reveal that the power button and the volume rockers will reside along the right edge of the smartphone. The power button on the smartphone might double as the fingerprint scanner.

The inclusion of a triple rear camera setup will be an upgrade over its predecessor – the iQOO Z5x. To those unaware, the iQOO Z5x comes with a dual-rear camera setup and doesn’t support optical image stabilisation. Apart from it, the brand hasn’t confirmed any other details about the iQOO Z6.

However, the iQOO Z6 is expected to offer a 120Hz display panel, similar to other mid-range smartphones these days. The device might come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series processor. To those unaware, the iQOO Z5x is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and supports just 44W fast charging.
