iQOO is set to expand its Z6 series lineup. The company launched the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G as its new mid-range 5G smartphone with a Snapdragon 778G SoC in India. It also launched the Z6 5G and the Z6 44W as its new budget smartphone offering in India. It looks like we might see a new Z-series smartphone very soon. The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The listing on BIS confirms the model number of the upcoming iQOO smartphone.

iQOO will launch the Z6 Lite 5G as its new budget smartphone soon. The smartphone has been spotted on the BIS website ahead of its launch. The Z6 Lite 5G has the model number I2208. The listing does not reveal any specs but suggests that the phone will debut soon.

Recently, a report by PriceBaba, citing tipster Paras Guglani revealed some more details of the upcoming iQOO smartphone. The report confirmed the moniker and the model number of the upcoming iQOO smartphone from the firmware data. It also revealed that the Z6 Pro SE will launch soon. The phone has the model number I2205.

The specifications of the device remain unknown at the moment. It was previously rumoured that the phone could be a rebadged Vivo T1X. However, the T1X is a 4G offering and comes with a Snapdragon 680 SoC. Therefore, we can expect the Z6 Lite 5G to pack a different SoC under the hood while borrowing some of the hardware from the T1X.
